Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Stoic Bible website or mobile application (the "Service") operated by Ataraxia LLC (“I”, “Ataraxia”, “the creator") . Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Changes to the Terms.

Ataraxia may revise and update these Terms from time to time at his sole discretion. Any changes are effective when we post them. Your continued use of Stoic Bible following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Changes to Stoic Bible

While the creator hopes to always offer Stoic Bible and all of its features, he reserves the right to change or cease offering Stoic Bible or any part portion or functionality of thereof without notice. They (the creator) will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of Stoic Bible is unavailable at any time.

Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account settings page or by contacting support@stoicbible.com. A valid payment method, including credit card, is required to process the payment for your Subscription. You shall provide us with accurate and complete billing information including a zip code and a valid payment method information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize Ataraxia to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.

Free Trial

Stoic Bible is free to access for the first week with no billing information required. However, after the first week, premium features will be disabled until the user (“you”) purchase an active subscription. At any time and without notice, Ataraxia reserves the right to (i) modify the terms and conditions of the Free Trial offer, or (ii) cancel such Free Trial offer.

Fee Changes

Ataraxia, in his sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees for the Subscriptions. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. Ataraxia will provide you with a reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective. Your continued use of the Service after the Subscription fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified Subscription fee amount.

Refunds

Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

The Service, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ataraxia LLC. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the USA and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Ataraxia.

Limitation of Liability

YOU AGREE THAT ATARAXIA LLC SHALL, IN NO EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER OR FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER FAILURE, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ATARAXIA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. IN NO EVENT SHALL ATARAXIA ENTIRE LIABILITY TO YOU IN RESPECT OF ANY SERVICE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TOWARDS SUCH SERVICE.

Limitations on Use

By using our Services, you agree on behalf of yourself not to (i) modify, prepare derivative works of, or reverse engineer, our Services; (ii) knowingly or negligently use our Services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks, user accounts, or the Services; (iii) market, or resell the Services to any third party; (iv) use the Services in violation of applicable laws, or regulations;

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
